Leighton Meester, an American actor, model, singer and music producer, is a multi-talented performer. Leighton Meester's career began as a girl as she portrayed Blair Waldorf on the popular television series 'Gossip Girl'. When she was a kid, she was featured in a local stage production that starred in the 'Wizard's of Oz'' following which her interest in acting developed. Commercials and modeling were her first steps. For modelling assignments, she's worked with big brands including 'Herbal Essentials as well as 'Vera Wang and 'Jimmy Choo and 'Ralph Lauren. Although she started modeling as model, she soon decided to pursue acting. The beginning of her acting career was an appearance on the TV show 'Law and Order'. She has since played in numerous feature films and TV series that include 'Country Strength", "Monte Carlos", and Killer Movie. In addition to her acting work, Meester has also was a part of notable music artists like 'Cobra Starship' the musician Robin Thicke, and recorded songs.
